Timeline Jumping…?
I’m sure that many people have heard about the idea of timeline jumping, shifting timelines, or even being in the “wrong” timeline. With the popularization of quantum physics infiltrating our mainstream culture (Marvel movies like Dr. Strange, The Avengers, Spiderman, and others like Everything Everywhere All At Once), our minds have been largely opened to this as a possible (although fantastical) phenomenon. Aside from the comic book and whimsical, wacky nature of these popular films, could it only be limited to fiction? Or could it be a real construct for us to work with?
Probably the first time I really considered this as a possibility, is when I watched the 2004 (controversial) film, What the Bleep Do We Know?, it did open my mind to a whole new world (or multiverse?) of possibilities. The idea of the quantum idea of superposition is defined by Wikipedia as “the condition in which a quantum system can exist simultaneously in multiple states”—until it is measured, or observed, and then it shifts to one state. Here is a visual graphic depicting this idea.
Some believe that we may, in fact, but shifting between multiple “parallel realities” at any given moment. This is such an interesting concept to me, because we are living both in our own projected reality, and also in the collective and shared projected reality. And with infinite versions of each that intermingle, there are potentially quite literally infinite possibilities.
I am not a doomsday type of person who believes that we are living in a controlled simulation. I do believe, though, that we are live in a way that we co-create our reality as humans. Together, we have agreed upon certain constructs to evolve and learn from (like our banking, schooling, and healthcare systems, to name a few). I studied the work of Paul Selig for many years, who talks about these ideas. One of the main concepts being that what we see in our world (even the terrible things), we have agreed to—on some level, even if it’s to transcend them. And that’s just about where I see us arriving now; at a pivotal point in humanity, where great change is upon us.
What if the chaos, war, inhumanity that is currently on full display for us all to witness, is a jumping off point for us? What if the breakdown of all that is no longer working can help us launch into something far greater than we can even imagine now? It would be much harder for us to make a “quantum leap” from a place of perceived stability. As in, if we were all just content with the status quo, would we feel compelled to create something totally new? I believe this is where we sit now. On the brink of real change. There is a strong undercurrent that is rising, and I believe the old structures, thoughts, and ways of being are about to crumble. I believe it’s only a matter of time.
Brining it back to the quantum, how then, can we co-create a new reality? How can we move to a “higher timeline” both personally, and collectively? And, (knowing that we will have to put in work and effort) what if it doesn’t have to be that hard? UC Berkely physicist Cynthia Sue Larson talks about this in greater detail in her book Quantum Jumps. To break it all the way down, simply using the phrase “how good can this get?” has the power and potential to shift us into the highest timeline available. And as a bonus, this statement is not an “every person for themselves” mentality; but rather, benefits the whole—what is best for all parties involved in any given situation. The absolute best thing about this concept, is that it is accessible to everyone, doesn't cost anything, and is simple enough to remember and apply to any situation. Even if you are skeptical, I challenge you to suspend your disbelief and give this method a try for the next month. Watch what happens. For me, this practice has cut to the chase and simplified other previous practices involving intention setting; creating amazing outcomes that I could not even imagine, quite literally.
What if we can shift our reality right here and right now—even though we aren’t in a fantasy film? What if this is meant for ALL of us to access? Could this bring us to the tipping point needed for real global change? Join me, and let’s find out together.
